A windy day

Today was not that cold just super windy.

Got up early today cause I've slept the whole night since 8pm yesterday.
Didn't even wash my hair but maybe that actually helped my hair stay nice and neat...thanks Qadeer for this compliment ( but don't know if it was though)

So finally I met the crown today after all the delays Ron had to deal last week. He was friendly and actually not intimidating at all. He told us why we have to go to court to testify this time. It was funny how the OPP tried to catch a speeding car and after done the search, they found there was a gun, marihuana and some oxycodon pills. The cops were first time dealing with drugs so they didn't actually take the picture of all the exhibits at the first place. They threw out the plastic bag that contains the marihuana and just left loose plant material in the exhibit envelopes and sent those for analysis. I received those envelopes, as usual practice, I repackaged all the loose plant material in the ziploc bag with my initial, and sealed the envelopes after done the analysis. So the envelopes were returned to the cops, the contents insides were not exactly the same as the beginning so the Defense used that as an excuse to extend the court day and got analysts to the explain the continuity of the exhibits (how the exhibits were sent and received by Health Canada, how analysts kept their exhibits and how they returned to exhibit control....)

We walked the Crown a tour to our lab, explained the tests related to oxycodon and marihuana. Then finally he confirmed that I have to go to court. My coworker was so excited because she has been working at Health Canada for more than 6 years but hasn't had a chance to go to court, this time is a good learning experience....I don't know whether I am lucky or bad luck...just work there for like 7 months and have to go to court already.

Got home now and making walnut-date-fig bars to use up the figs and dates that Qadeer bought for me to try last time and applying job
